A not-so-renowned Internet of Things or IoT services company, Uros from Finland has seen a swift rise up to 175%. The rise in the sales showcases a figure of around 1.33 billion euros in the previous year. There is a highly likely chance that after Nokia, Uros might be the new star of the Finnish tech industry, according to Talouselama, Finnish weekly circulation.
Uros is a Finland's privately owned company which is based in Oulu. The company specifically sells industrial mobile connections devices & sensor. On the other hand, the company has also seen a rapid growth given that Qualcomm has not yet partnered, according to Jerry Raatikainen, the Chief Executive's interview with Talouselama.
Raatikainen said that since the beginning of 2000, the Internet of Things has always been a more significant and massive phenomenon than the phones produced by Nokia. The Internet of Things has the potential to reach anywhere, become anything, and after fifteen long years and numerous groundbreaking innovation Uros has become one of the biggest Internet of Things service provider in Finland. And now Uros wants to maintain its massive growth as the company will head into 2022.
Nokia was the No.1 cell phone maker until 2012 in the entire world. And after the company fell to respond to the widespread growth demand for smartphones, the Finnish company remade itself into being a massive network equipment maker in the world.
In spite of the rapid growth, the businesses of Uros has proved to be extremely profitable. In the year 2018, Uros has made a massive amount of profit, i.e., 120 million euros, which is around 845 percent from 2017.
The company has also curated an integrated 3-sim technology which the manufacturers can adopt such as ZTE and Motorola for subscribing to several services of numerous operators repeatedly!
