The 5TH Annual IoT Conference held in Bengaluru highlights several start-ups focusing on healthcare, education, transport, smart homes, agriculture, manufacturing and several other sectors along with business insights from the market leaders.
The conference was attended by around 500 delegates, 25 exhibitors, and more than 50 start-ups. There were panel discussions and entrepreneur exhibitions along with demo sessions and workshops. The most promising IoT start-ups were awarded. Some of them are-

In 2016, The Indian IoT Start-up Directory was published where you can get all the annual updates regarding IoT. It was originally launched in 2014, back then the IoT Forum has held approximately 60 events throughout India.
The application of IoT has dramatically increased in different sectors, the prime reason being its affordability of technological components. Some of the major IoT components are sensors, bandwidth, open-source libraries, cloud infrastructure and some other tools along with the combination of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
In India, the IoT Forum tracked the rise of Indian Startups from 2014 to 2019. There were 123 startups in 2014, which was increased to 275 in 2015. By the end of 2016, the number approached to 470.
According to Supria Dhanda, the Vice President and Country Manager, Western Digital India, IoT are all set to create bigger transformation by drawing more people towards using online devices. Eventually, it will put higher pressure on individuals to be more creative.
The future of IoT scenario in India also predicted in the conference based on research data from market experts. The investors are positive regarding ROI in various IoT field.
