The contactless payment option has existed even before the Covid-19 pandemic, but it has its popularity due to the current situation. Tap to pay is a safe option to transact since it is a much healthier option you never know the pink note you are holding comes from which hand! But now SBI has introduced its new Contactless Visa SBI Credit Cards where you can pay your debt without handover your card. They recently launched a campaign as “Tap to the new normal” in order to encourage people to pay without contact.
The latest video campaign of SBI Card beautifully interprets how we are slowly entering into the new normal situation, whether by accepting work from home together with the family chaos or by ordering groceries instead of stepping out of the house to buy them. Now you even get alcohol delivered at your doorstep.
In the latest contactless payment by SBI Credit and Visa card the payments made by holding the card in the close proximity of the POS machine. The POS terminals accept one payment at a time by placing the card to the exact place of the machine (less than 4cm away). This type of contactless traction is called near-field-communications (NFC).
The situation demands contactless movement for safety, so when it comes to the transaction it needs to happen without no to minimum contact, here the SBI transaction is covered by multi-layered protection. This card will always be in the hand of the owner, which makes the payment option even safer.
