When an LED light blinks, it is considered to be the conventional hardware saying that the project is a go. It is highly equivalent to the project saying "Hello World" By the look of it, it is a simple test which determines that the person in charge of the project has worked out on the basis of the project. The blinking of light in hardware also shows that the project has finally found meaning and this is the same principle that people are choosing to follow in the era of the Internet of Things.
Limbo created the WiFi HDD LED; it works as a status LED which can easily be activated with the help of WiFi. The hardware of the WiFi HDD LED is based on an affordable ESP8266 module. Normally what happens is people are not aware of what is going on with their HDD or SSD. This is all the more reason as to why it is worth checking out if a person is looking forward to getting their feet wet as far as ESP hacking is concerned.
As far as the hardware side is considered, the hardware looks like an LED is hanging near the ESP8266 module. With the help of the activity indicator, the Internet of Things hardware is able to determine what is happening with SSD or HDD. The hardware module performs like a virtual LED for SSD and HDD activity. Limbo has come forward with a new addition to the IoT device, and that is, the device will act as a physical indicator.
The project is much more about the software other than the hardware. The code has been released as an open source to modify it according to the needs of the people.
