The Tesla cars that are the brainchild of Elon Musk, who is also trying to make travelling space suitable for commercial people. According to sources familiar with the Tesla cars, these vehicles incorporate compelling onboard computers which allow low-latency of data alongside real-time processing.
There are numerous sensors in the Tesla cars that collect the produced data. According to Intel, the modern-day autonomous cars can generate around 40 terabytes of data after a straight eight-hour drive. Moreover, this is exceptionally unsafe, and at the same time, it is also impractical for sending the insurmountable amounts of data towards the cloud.
However, what would happen if these cars begin to compute the data all by themselves. Most definitely, it will turn the vehicle into a pure miniature data centre. The real question that people might wonder is, will this make the autonomous cars extremely reliable as well as secure.
Nevertheless, what would happen if the modern-day wireless and wearable devices will start processing the complex data in real-time? Moreover, the real question is that would it aid the cloud computing alongside its bandwidth and latency issues to suffice.
There is a highly likely chance that the regulatory issues, along with compliance issues, begin dictating the data when it is sent to the cloud. In terms of the consumer segment, simple milliseconds of gathering and storing data would make a huge difference. On the other hand, it will not work better if the issues concerning latency will not get resolved.
For many years now, computing has been carried out on back-end servers of the companies. However, in the last couple of decades, businesses across the world were to shift their workloads directly to distinctive clouds. By the looks of it, this trend gave rise to the groundbreaking modern-day technique called cloud computing.
