The devices may not be limited to the IoT applications; those can be machine-tools and head-mounted devices as well.

According to Symantec’s 2018 Report, there is a whopping 600% increase in IoT devices in the sector of cyber-attacks. A few flaws in hardware and software have resulted in increased enterprise security incidents. It also highlights human errors are problematic and should not be overlooked otherwise the smooth data communication may comprise.
Network World has summarized the five most common IoT networking mistakes that companies may make, highlighted by Robert Burnett, Brother’s director. Those mistakes may result in some hostile activity which is harmful to the businesses.
Crucial machine configuration settings can be protected from different securing devices from illegitimate admin access. It also helps in report information to other connected devices. As explained by Burnett, it also denies access to personal information like username, password, etc. that, in turn, can be used in phishing attacks like hacking, information alteration, etc.
