The security startup of the Internet of Things, Armis says that it comes hoping to go to the public after the startup managed to raise $65 million as capital from the investors. By the looks of it, Armis managed to make it work as the sales are growing at an accelerated rate due to different channels.
The CEO of Armis has made some bold comments regarding the potential IPO. Yevgeny Dibrov, the CEO and co-founder of Armis revealed an important development even before the company came up with an announcement on Thursday regarding the Series C crowdfunding. Sequoia Capital, a heavyweight venture capitalist led the crowdfunding of Armis. As of now the total funding that the startup has come up with is $122 million.
According to an interview which took place on Tuesday, Dibrov said that the goal of the company is to build massive businesses. Armis has the opportunity along with the time and the right resources to build the business of their desire. Everything now depends on how Armis is going to execute to curate the business. And this is the aim of the company. Judging by the CEO’s comment the company is confident about the fact that they will lead the market for an extended period of time.
On the other hand, the investment of Sequoia was done by Carl Eschenbach, who is one of the partners of the firm. By the looks of it, Carl Eschenbach is the former president of VMware and also its chief operating officer. According to the sources, Eschenbach is soon going to join the board of directors of the company.
Armis is offering the companies with never before witnessed visibility across the unmanaged as well as the managed devices. The company is making it possible during a period of time when the number of Internet of Things devices are blooming around the world.
